CAC Green collaborated with agencies which specialise in Tree Plantation drives all over India. We are in the process of tie-ing up and will help sponsor such programs in which ever possible capacities. We intend to help improve the green cover of our country in places which need it the most. It will help improve rainfall patterns and improve carbon dioxide balancing emanating from growing traffic and human settlements. There are various citizen groups working to improve the green cover in their areas and CAC Green will work with such groups to collaborate on creating such pockets of greens.
CAC Green intends to work on Solar Micro-grid programs all over India in smaller communities where power from grid doesn’t reach regularly. Although India has achieved nearly 100% electrification which is a feat, supply of grid power to very small villages and settlements is still a challenge given the infrastructure and availability issues. Solar Micr-Grids is the solution for that. CAC Green interns to collaborate with Micro-grid specialist and the local Govts and other NGOs which work in this area and provide the necessary support for implementing such projects. This will help bring atleast light, fan and some battery charging infra to these places.
The Govt of India has already initiated Solar Street light projects all over India. However, lot of these projects are in the urban areas and the rural areas are yet to get their share of this benefit. CAC Green will work with Solar Street light manufacturers to get some such projects executed in rural and semi-urban areas where such infra will help build the required support required for improving the quality of life of the people and especially for students who will have ease in studying with such lights. Solar lighting can help reduce carbon emissions since they replace the more carbon intensive coal-powered power.
CAC Green is working towards improving the awareness for Electric Vehicles (EVs) as it can help reduce the carbon dioxide emissions coming from the Internal Combustion (IC) Engines like Petrol and Diesel types. We all know the amount of pollution that vehicles create and this contributes to nearly 24% of the overall GHG emission globally. EV adoption will help reduce this and bring down the levels. India wants 30-40% vehicles to move to EV by 2030. CAC Green is working towards awareness programs for this so that more and more people become aware of the benefits and move towards this adoption faster.
